About Us
School nursing is a specialised practice of professional nursing that advances the well being, and primary healthcare of students and staff within a school community. School nurses facilitate positive student responses to normal development, promote health and safety, intervene with actual or potential health problems and provide case management services.
We are a group of nurses who work within the school environment encompassing, Government, Catholic and Independent Schools.

National School Standards
The ANMF is delighted to be able to release the National School Nursing Professional Practice Standards for the benefit of all school nurses and school communities in guiding consistency for competent and safe practice; and, for use in advocating for funding allocation for school nurses in all public and private school settings. This is vital for the health and well-being of current children and young people in Australia, and for building a healthy nation for future generations.

Victorian School Nurse Casual Relief Register
This is a list of members who are willing to help out other members and their schools to cover leave.
Nurses are to negotiate their own pay/hours etc with the individual schools and provide evidence of appropriate accreditations.
